shale stone background

Post by tweetybird »

I baught a new aquarium a little while ago, a corner aquarium. The idea is to have malawi ciclids in it, and I wondered what I could use as backgroun, did I have to buy one? Then I saw outside and saw a shale stone lying there and I thaught, that would be cool, så I got a friend of mine to take home 2 kvm shale stone from work, I did'nt get to take any pictures during the building cause I did'nt have my camera home, but I have pictures of the resault:)

I used:

2 kvm shale
2 tubes transparent aquarium silicone 300ml
2 meters og black carton

I used tha carton on the outside of the glas, so you cant see thrue the places there are gaps between the shale.

Looks good, tweety :)

With some caves and some zebras it would be perfect ;)
