I was dissapointed with AVP R also.

I am legend strayed too far from the original book for my liking also, but a fair attempt by Will Smith. Sam deserves an Oscar!

Am waiting for Cloverfield to show - the trailer was teasingly tempting. :)

Am sad to say I was dissapointed with Cloverfield. :(

Good idea, but the wobbly camera view gave me a headache and the story line was just weak... no answers, just questions...

What was the monster? Where did it come from? Where did it go? What happens to the people? Can anyone enlighten me. :?:

I loved cloverfield - At the end of the film the clip goes back to Coney Island when they say they had the best day ever, on the right hand side of the screen in the background there is a massive splash as somthing smashes into the sea. After the credits there is an extra bit with a voice over that whispers"Its still alive" I also gave it some thought and at least one of them must of survived because the begining is called 'Mission Cloverfield film retrival' how would the army know the camera was there to retreive if no one told them.
I don't think that the monster at the end in the park was the same main monster it was too small.
