This is cool

The lights are dimmed, the fire is blazing in the big old fireplace, your favourite tunes are on in the background, and I'm just about to pour you a big glass of red!!! Let's settle down on the big old leather sofa and have a chat!!

No, it's planned to get on the market within the next 12 months, but for those that live in New York it's available for hands on testing from June 9'th :)

It's a flash site. Are you at work? Maybe Flash is filtered out on the network?

And it's costs something like £2500-£5000...that's between 20-40 zebras at todays market price! :D

All it really means though, is that you'll have a bigger blue screen when it crashes lol!

I don't think it's meant for the private market, but rather restaurants, shops, hotels so forth.

But 20-40 Zebras would be cool too! I can't afford either though

From the different videos it looks like they are preparing to release it to the restaurants and business markets first. In the last flash video they show how consumers can use it to easily transfer music files and photos to a synchronized device. Basically it looks like Surfaces would simplify the file pathing in file transfers and make it more user friendly and visually appealing for those who are not tech savvy. How many people remember how to use DOS?

It is definitely something to look forward to. And of course there is always going to be blue screens of death. It's not a Mac! :) Although I have crashed a Mac before...*cough* *cough*.

Technology convergence. It's the future.
