Driving to Birmingham tomorrow.

The lights are dimmed, the fire is blazing in the big old fireplace, your favourite tunes are on in the background, and I'm just about to pour you a big glass of red!!! Let's settle down on the big old leather sofa and have a chat!!

Ok... I do kinda like snow, but I have just spent 3 hours trying to make a big enough path to try and get my car out!...now if I had a board attached to me feet I might be a little happier!!! (although saying that the last snowboarding trip ended up with 2 broken ribs and an absolute slagging from my mates!

Looks like I might make it down to Birmingham after all..... Oh well another trip across the border!....
Mental Note: Remember not to mention the rugby!

Drive careful Rob :). I don't care how pretty it makes things, that fluffy white stuff is something I can't seem to get moved far enough south to get away from ;).

yeah, I'm watching the weather forecast but it will be a slow joureny down there I think.

say why are you going to birmingham picking up some fishes?
Unfortunately not! Some of my clients are down there, so no time for fish... although I did get my first spawn from fish I picked up originally!!!

Hawii... ah that would be nice, but then again I'd miss the scottish beer! [/quote]

Hi Rob,

I am just 25 miles south of Birmingham and we had a sprinkling of snow last night but it didn't settle. I have just looked out of the window and there is no snow, absolutely clear, although I suspect it is cold enough to expect snow soon.

If you do go to Birmingham as long as the Motorways are gritted you should be OK.

Have a safe journey :)
