Christmas time is a wonderful time

The lights are dimmed, the fire is blazing in the big old fireplace, your favourite tunes are on in the background, and I'm just about to pour you a big glass of red!!! Let's settle down on the big old leather sofa and have a chat!!

but also the highlight of the year for fraud. a very popular way of defrauding people these days are so called Phishing. Would you be fooled?

Here's a little test that gives you actual examples of phishing attempts, see if you can spot the frauds:

And... be sceptical if you ever get questioned about usernames accountnames/numbers or passwords!

 I think Doc was quoting his own result.

Just make sure you never give out information about creditcardnumber, passwords so on - when asked in a mail to do so, and you'll be safe ;)

Yep 10 out of 10.

It doesn't qualify me for 10 out of 10, a little luck too  , but I am a network engineer by profession so I do have a little knowledge on phishing and what to look out for..

Can't the Interpol or somebody trace where these originate from? I am sure there are ways of tracking emails!
