I agree totally with what you're saying, it's very upsetting to see one spawn after another get eaten.

Excellent news Arctic. :D

Nine out of 10 is really good going. Any ideas on why the yolk sac broke on the 10th one? Did you notice if it was finding it difficult to break through the egg shell?

Well done and of course keep us posted. :D

Looking good Artic. :D :D

I know it's quite a few days away but have you got any ideas what you are going to feed them as a first food? Similar diet to your L66 fry perhaps?

Yes they will get similiar diet that L-66 youngsters, when they have used yolk sack i will feed them self hatched artemia (brine shrimps) which is freezed. After two weeks they will get zucchini, jbl pleco chips, dr.bassleers biofishfood and frozen brine shrimps.

That one baby Whos yolk sack was broken i now dead  anothers 9 babies is looking good.

Hi Artic,

The youngsters are looking nice and healthy. :D There only appears to be 5 of the 9 that hatched left. Did you lose some of them?

Keep the pictures coming. :D

Hi Artic,

Sorry to hear that you have lost 4 of the little fellas. :( Just wondering, how did the drift wood in their breeding trap cause 2 of them to die?
