Spawn Number 6

Post by TwoTankAmin »

I have not had two sets of eggs in the breeder tank since late Sept. last year. Well that string is now broken as fatty is in the 2nd favored cave on eggs. I could not make out wiggling so I assume it is very recent. The alpha male is tending wigglers in the prime cave.

The number 3 male has been advertising for some time but I think he is gonna be plum out of luck unless he can lure a female when one of the other males will not have recovered sufficiently from raising a spawn to be ready to go again.

We had a storm recently and this just convinces me more than ever that barometric pressure changes are a key ingredient in zebra spawns
What makes the common person uncommon is common sense.
