I am about 99% sure the alpha male is on eggs. That is the fifth spawn since they resumed in June.
Every time I think I can pull the breeder tank apart to pull some offspring, they go again. I sure hope they have as long a run this time as the last one. If so I will be forced to do a fry hunt despite having a spawn being tended
I did manage to get 9 smaller fry out of the breeder tank afew weeks back when they got into the HOT Mag filter where I found them.

For sure the fish deserve all the credit.
All I do is feed em and clean their tank and change their water. I don't do anything to induce them to spawn beyond that. Which is why I must be the luckiest zebra breeder out there and which attests to the fact that they are not so hard a fish to spawn in the long run. Especially when there is a site like this and folks like Barbie to help
