Eggs been eaten!?

Post by Shell231 »

The female left the cave today, and the male was fairly near the front of the cave and i couldn't help myself i had to see if there the eggs were still in there and to my suprise they were gone?

does anyone have an idea to why this has happened could this just be the start of the whole process.

Can he keep on trapping the same female with no sucess, he had her in there for days lol. Again could this just be the start of it all?

Even though the first attempt at spawning can be successful it's more common that it fails. Most likely the eggs weren't fertilized, and perhaps eaten.

But now that theyh ave tried it once most likely they willl have another atttempt soon ;)
