They seem healthy, but a little skinny. Feed them well and they should be ok :)
Don't know if you noticed but one has a slight snub-nose.

Good to hear they eat well, let em gain some weight.
I think har_eh refers to pic3 , i noticed it to, though it might be the angle the pic is taken.
Congrats with em and enjoy :)

John

Thanks John! I will definitely fatten them up! And I believe that was just the angle cuz I have not seen a stubby nose on any of them yet..

Congrats on your zebs ! They surely need some more hiding places in the tank. And like you said, some caves. There are a ton of places to find caves on the net. Good luck.

just and FYI re snubbers. It is usually easiest to ID potential snubbing when you view the zebra from the underside :-)

People often say you shouldn't breed with snubs, but I've also
red somewhere that ppl have, and the fry turned out normal.

Yup, i read the breeding report out of germany also.
Also read a report from someone who's fish produced almost 100% snubs who moved house to another area, there was another water company/source supplying the water in this new house, the snub problem was gone and the fish were producing healthy fry.......
Greetings,
John

The water quality theory makes a lot of sense, this could have an effect on the thickness of the egg(shell)
combined with the effort fry has to put in to get out of the shell. I sincerely disbelieve that snubs have
a disease or some kind of "handicap".
