Nice pics :)

Is the hillsteam loach in with the zebs? I thought the two required very different water temperatures :dunno:

yes they are! there are 4 in there and all seem to be doing well i know a few websites says they need fast flowing very high oxygen water at around 20-24c (so part the way there )but over the years i have found given a healthy diet and clean water most fish are very adaptable

I've got to agree. Although my hillstreams (sewellia lineolata) are not in with my zebs, they are in my community tank. The temp in the tank is usually 82°, and the only flow I have is from my 2 HOB filters (AC 70 and Emp280). I researched the loaches before I bought them, and the guy I got them from originally (Brian at BriansTropicals) said to give it a shot. Well, I have had them for about 2 years, and they have spawned twice for me in this tank. So I guess they must be happy ! Sorry, didn't mean to hijack your thread. Very nice tank, by the way. Looks like it could be quite a PITA to clean. Good luck.

Np hijack away :x I never considered breeding them will be interesting to see if they do! And thanks the zebs seem to like it I do have to lift the slate from time to time to clear out any build up but seems to be ok :)
