Nice plec! I've seen one similar on line before a couple of times. Probably collected in a similar place as the L046 but I am guessing that a lot is unknown about it! Congrats on a stunning plec though! :P Where did you get it? 8)

Thx Discusbabe, I bought it in HK but I don't know where exactly do they come from.

I am horrible at pleco ID but could it be L-236?

And, if it were possible to cross your fish with a zebra, do you thing the result would be a checkered pleco? :twisted:

I think they are not L236, as 236 has a milky white colour and those of mine are pretty white. So 236 is ruled out.
Cross breeding is not what i m going to do even I put them all in the same tank. In fact, I don't know their sex yet...anyway, I wish to get more of these fellows and of coz a real 236.

Hi Arrior,

I don't think mine are the same as those you attached. For the first 2, definitely not......the 4th, the proportion of the head looks different.
The most probably is the 3rd....but the colouration seems different as well...so I don't think they are the same type.
