Hi chanettt: great fish ^.^
the price is actually low for real L236...
by the way, is the black-and-white a sharp contrast?
(or it is showing a grey-yellow vs. grey-black kind of appearance
in the strips)?

by the way, should 236 have a white background of a milky white?
I was told 236 should be milky white rather than white...if it's with white background colour, it's more likely to be a 173 rather than 236, can anyone tell me more about this?

hi blueblue, i never look at that color, it is not really white. i am not sure wheter it's yellow neither. i bought it from fish store and with no hidding space the fish seem to look white than normal. both base color and stripe. after i bought this and take some pictures, i let it to the tank right away. right now there are so many hidding space and i never see it since... (all photos i took also suck, old cam  )

i just check my new L236 a minute ago and find out he is already dead. i guess it is yesterday. i think the biggest L46 in the tank attack this little one. (even the smallest L46 is chasing L236) is this possible?

Fighting is possible but if there is enough space for them to hide, it should be ok. The fish died may be the problem of the fish itself (not enough time for soaking and exchanging water???)...so it can't adapted to the new environment?
