I now have my first Zebras plecs! :D

Post by discusbabe »

I would firstly like to say a huge thank you to Dave for allowing me and my friend to invade his home and to collect some of his stunning zebra plecs yesterday! It was great to meet you and superb to see your set ups and the wonderful fish you have hidden away there!

The zebras have settled in really well and I must say that I couldn't be happier with them! I was at first concerned that I wouldn't see much of them but this is certainly not the case! All 4 sit close to the front of the tank and have been happily scurrying around this afternoon and eating away! :D

I'm a very happy person! 8)

Enjoy!

Sorry didn't put them in a very good order did I? I didn't think of taking pics of them in the bucket until I'd taken the first one out so the 2nd pic of the single zebra is the fourth one with the three in the bucket being individuals.

They look great :D just be careful with that rock in the background, they have already started digging under it, and might dig a bit too much, making the rock fall.

Congrats :D

Thanks McEve, I had already thought about moving that rock! Three of them fight over the area, I don't want to upset them but have also been concerned about it. In fact I think I'm going to move it now! It's been about an hour since I last checked on them! :P

Chanett - Dave is a very nice chap and definitely worth meeting if you are ever in this neck of the woods! :D

Yes the cave is great! :D Will be calling on you soon for more details! :D

Plants - there are two potted plants, I'm afriad I can't remember the names, sorry. The grass like stuff is actually just a fake plant, just helps add a bit of colour :D
