One of my zebs

Post by Frontyking »

Hello all,

As my zebras are growing, I've found they are starting to explore their tank rather than hang out behind the filter intake as shown in the pic below

Here's a couple of shots of one that ventured off under a rock.

They're all at about 4.5-5cm now and I can't wait till they grow to adult size and become more active.

Hope you all enjoy!

Cheers,

Nick.

Thanks discusbabe. At that size they're hard to take good pics of as they're mostly hiding behind something. It took me about 30 minutes or so to get the 3 clear pics after shooting about 30 pics!
I'm happy with the results though.

Those are some good photos fronty...

I have zebz that are around the 2.5-3cm mark... The secret to getting photos of them out and about is to hide somewhere that can only see the top of your head and the camera. Personally I use my sofa that is right next to the tank. And the second most important factor is timing, I try this at feeding time. There isn't even any need to turn the lights off... mine are so eager to feed that if keep still for long enough they come out.
