Was not sure bout this pair look like 2 males to me
Shop people did not Even no any thoughts
Both are at least 3years+ biggest 1 is just under 3 inches

From the first pic I'd say the left one is a female the right one a male.

I will almost never offer an opinion on the sex of most plecos. But, I rely for sexing on goo shots of the underside of the fish, Unfortunately, your pics are not real clear, Just to give you an idea of what sort of inage is desire, here are some shot of another Hypan. I keep.
Hope this helps. Usually the "vent" will show if you move the fish to a photo tank with cleaner cooler water than their normal tank.
