6 zebras! Is there at least 1 female in them?

We all know how difficult it is to identify the sex of these fish, so please post a picture in here and we'll try to help you (or at least give an educated guess!).

6 zebras! Is there at least 1 female in them?

Post by Apollo »

Hi all!

I'm setting up a breeding tank for these zebra in hope to see some zebra eggs in the near future.

However I've realize that there a high chance that they might all be male.

Is there a female in them at all??

Thanks for the help in advance!!

Regards,
Roy

I think #4 *might* be a female.
L046 Breeders - 2M/3F / Lots of other L046 subadults and juveniles.
Lots of L144 - LF/SF, M/F, you name it...

2 & 3 males, 4 maybe a younger male.
Get them fattened up & some more pics in 6 months will tell.

Thank you guys for the help! Yup! Definitely gonna fatten them up.

I'm hoping there will be at least 2 female in there.

They seem settle quickly into their new tank. :-) Good sign i think.

Will keep check of their behaviour. That will give me a clue of their sex.
