One to Sex... Your expertise is needed

We all know how difficult it is to identify the sex of these fish, so please post a picture in here and we'll try to help you (or at least give an educated guess!).

I used to have a fat alpha male like that. I would go for a MALE as the shape of the head shows.

I'd say you've got a beautifull female.

Slightly hairy, nicely shaped Full-of-Eggs Female!

Body shape, fin shape/size and tail pinch say it for me!

Get her a male quick!

So far we have 4 females to 1 males.

Chanett - agreed with the head as being a male. Not typical female head.

At first glance I thought the fish was a female too... just because her body shape didn't have a taped body like a male and the belly was very round, and the hair on the pectoral (front side fin) was not the hairy compare to most males that I have saw.

Thanks all for your opinion.. Anyone else...

P.s. I just put he/she into a tank with a mated pair ... going to see what happen and I just did a big water change too...

I would go for a nice ripe female.

Nice round belly, opercular spines are reduced, thin first ray on pectoral fins the does look broad but is quite rounded off.
