We all know how difficult it is to identify the sex of these fish, so please post a picture in here and we'll try to help you (or at least give an educated guess!).

John, thanks for your reply!
I'm still struggling to tell so what are you baseing your guess on?
Also if they are 1 of each, any tips for getting them started as they show no interest in each other at all!!

Headshape, bodyshape and facial hair.
Does bigpappa "own" a cave yet?

No he doesn't - it's Midge that's often in one of the caves!!
I'll attatch photos of my third zeb 'Titch' he/she is much smaller though the same age as Midge. Any guesses as to the sex of this one?

The first pic of midge looks like a snub nose to me. How else can I put it?
Take care

Hi Dave,
It's strange how deceptive photos can be isn't it!
Looking with a magnifying glass at BM it doesn't look hairy at all, but it does in the photos
I put some more slate in the tank to make some nice crevices for them & now all 3 are in these & the caves are completely abandoned!
I gues the only way to really find out what sex they are is to wait for them to perform!! Just hope the wait isn't too long!
