what do u think?

We all know how difficult it is to identify the sex of these fish, so please post a picture in here and we'll try to help you (or at least give an educated guess!).

Hi

Its very difficult to say - going on the bowl with all three.

My gut tells me.

Largest almost certinaly male.

Middle - I think this could be a female but i'm really not sure, it could easily be a young male.

Bottom - probably a female but again not sure.

Cheers

Tom

Hi Jo,
I would say that the top one is a female.
Would not like to commit myself on the other 2 as the pictures arent that clear or close enough.
However just on body shape would guess that the third one was a male.
Regards,
Des.

Hi Jo

As far as I can see the first pic is a female. The third could also be female, but there looks to be some pelvic fin damage at the tips so it is difficult to tell.

Out of curiosity, were the fish recently sold on the UK classifieds?

Get some more photos and maybe we can help a little more.

All very nice looking fish, and good luck.
