Can anybody help me please????

If it's about fish in general, or it's a little bit random, then this is the place to post it.

Can anybody help me please????

Post by jakeysdaddy »

Hi, new to the site and the world of Zebra Plecos, What a stunnig creature they are, I looked in to the species to gather some knowledge on the Zebras prior to getting myself a couple for my community tank, but now am not sure wether my community tank would be best for them.
Could anyone give me any information on to which is best for them, also does andy one know of any breeders I could contact to find out about them more and also to possibly purchase a pair in the future if I decide to take on the stunning wee zebras as a hobbhy, hope someone can help, regards James

Hi James, welcome to the board! There is a ton of information available here, both in the articles and the posts made by our members. Hopefully they will give you all the basic information you'll need to get started. I, personally, don't recommend keeping them in a quarantine tank, as they need both higher temps, and less competition for their food.

Welcome you have found the right place for zeb info
A community tank is not a good idea for you zebs if you are going to put your cash and hard effort into keeping them you would be better off setting up a zebra pleco only tank they will thrive better on ther own for many reasons but it will be worth it in the long run
