If it's about fish in general, or it's a little bit random, then this is the place to post it.

Hello!
I am thinking about starting to breed zebras but is a little hesitant due to the price. Is there any other pleco with the same requirement that I could start with?

If you put your location in your profile, as per the rules, we might be able to give you somewhat of a guesstimate.

Try the L129, sometimes called the Columbian zebra.
