I bought a pleco today which looks very much like a Zebra pleco but its black stripes are slightly jagged. It has more black and white stripes than the zebra and its fins are bigger. Does anyone know what type of plec this is?

To post a picture it must first be uploaded to the net. Once it is, you can right click on the pic and get the URL for it. Once you have that when you go yo post it, click on the box above for Img. The paste in the picture URL and click the Img box again (it should have an asterix in it which indicates it is ready to put the ending img tag on.

If you have done things properly your post should look like this:

[img]your%20picture's%20URL[/img]

When you submit your post, the picture should appear rather than the text.

You can go to http://photobucket.com, and sign up for an album. I've never tried it myself, but am told the site is very easy to use

OR, you could use the gallery on this site! Klick the link named gallery on the top menu, and then personal gallery. You'll find a button that say upload picture ;)

This is the pic of the plec any ideas what type it is

It's not a Zebra. Might be a king tiger (L66)?

I am far from a pleco expert, but could it be Hypancistrus sp. L236-
Check here http://www.planetcatfish.com/catelog/sp ... ies_id=969

King Tigers are pure black and white when juveniles I think, but not sure as I'm no expert on identifying catfish either. L236 is a possibility.
