McEve, We miss your Webcam

If it's about fish in general, or it's a little bit random, then this is the place to post it.

McEve, We miss your Webcam

Post by Jenny »

Hello, McEve

Congratulations on your large male zebra guarding eggs and can understand if that is the reason the webcam is off.

Just thought I would let you know that - I MISS IT - as, I am sure, a lot of the other members do and, want to thank you again for letting us share your beautiful zebras.

Good luck with the babies - and perhaps, when they have left the cave we can have another look.

I'm currently witnessing two Zebras "fooling around" in one cave, am I witnessing what I think I am - some early morning action?

Confirmed 8 fry in tank one (not a cam on that one unfortunately), still counting frys in tank two, but believe 11

Sorry about the blackout in tank two (webcam2), it's up again now, you should be able to see the wee ones around 7 or 8 pm :D

Still waiting on tank three (webcam1) which has been the most productive group until now....

Glad you enjoy them!

McEve, they are so cute - how old are the babies - how do you avoid the babies eating the adult food?

As for now I feed both shrimp mix and bloodworms for the adults, making sure the babies have cyclops or a Tetramin available. I believe they are too small to try on the bloodworms, especially if they have an alternative, but - there's always a risk the babies will try the too large a food of course. They haven't so far though.

When they get a bit bigger I will cut the bloodworms, and make sure the shrimp mix is very finely chopped, but still offer an easier to eat alternative.

I'm experimenting a bit, will let you know how they respond. and - they are about 5 weeks old now

That's strange... both sites work for me. Does anybody else have problems?

Its working for me now. I see your new tank.

You do know its a crime to have that much talent.

I couldn't see the web feed earlier. I marked it up to the time difference. Your sleepy time is probably my day time.

There is a note saying lights out between 23:30 and 11 but the time is relative to your time zone.

Maybe you can record and play "the best of" during the down times.
 Just kidding.

That's very true... Have a look now and it should say GMT +1!
