Yeah, 3 cm is a good size for frozen blood worms. The live ones is a bit risky though. You just have to becareful the first couple of times you feed them as that's when the choking happens. Once the get used to the blood worm, it's OK to feed them regularly. As for the blue eyes zebras. It's fuzy, b...

Not to mention that you really really need a big tank if you go with live or frozen food. A 10G is just too small to absorb the left overs that you miss when you clean up after them.

Nice. So I guess all that killing was for the right to spawn. Don't give up on the first spawn just yet. My zebras never did miss on their first spawn after being off for almost a year.

I think it's best to setup a new tank and just net these two over to the other tank. Then nuke the one you have now and that includes the filter. If possible, microwave your media (not the filter as the plastic might melt). I do mine for 20 secs. Let it sit for a while then do it again for 20secs. T...

Woah! That's kind of weird. My zebras seems to be going nuts in the pass months too. I can't really explain it, but my adults in 3 tanks begins to boot all the juvies out for no reason. I already lost 3 juvies and another 5 almost lost they black stripes. I can't seem to find out what is causing thi...

This question is kind of hard to answer. That depends on how big are they. Sub-adults and juvies always share caves. But when they grew to adult size. They will each claim their own caves. 3 adults in 1 cave only means some one is going to get hurt. I would not leave them in there for more than 2 da...

Yes, I would definately suspect that is was new copper pipes. I've heard of new copper pipe issues quite often. But that usually result in shirmp deaths as shrimps are very sensitive to copper. This is the first time I heard about fish death due to new copper though.

Darn, that's a shame. But how do you know that is was a female? This is one of the reason why I never leave two plecos in the same cave for more than 2 days. On the third day, I always separate them. This might screw up the breeding pattern and it might take another 3 months or more for them to get ...

There's nothing to agreed or disagreed on.

Germany is not Europe.
And private sales and retail prices are two different story. Retail prices will almost always be 2 times of private sales.

So I agreed to disagreed with your disagreement to my claim. LOL.

A agreed that it's most likely deformed at birth. As for it being a genetic deformaty. I hate to say it, but I am afraid it will. That's how gold fish comes about.

Well, the hard part has yet to come. I think at around day 14, they will have eaten up their yoke sacs. It takes another week to 2 before they die from hunger. It's after the 14th day that they need to come out at night and learn to eat. Those that do not learn to eat will eventually die of starvati...
