im using pond canister filters with a flow rate of 8000lts an hour and no heater option(i could get different ones but cant find them that large with heaters) the problem with heating the room is that the outside temp goes below 0c and im not sure that a room heater will hold temp. im using the fish...

im currently setting up my fish house. there will be 50 tanks on 10 different sets of filters. im stuck on how to heat it.
i was thinking of inline heaters but cant find any that will fit on 28/32mm pipes.
does anyone have any ideas on how i can get round this little problem.

ive checked to sand and the clay pots i have, but no reaction. with the aid to 2 x 20% water changes the ph is 7.7 now. they all seem ok, apart from one who is stuck to the front of the tank even after the lights came on. which im sure i read is a bad sign.

just got my new caves from captain caveman, they totally put mine to shame. im going to take mine out when the new ones have been soaked.

after treating my tank for white spot i replaced some filter media and have done daily water changes using just ro water. all test look ok the tds is 210 but my ph is rising constantly. im recalibrating my ph meter as it now read 8.1. should i remove the media or is something else causing the ph to ...

i have mine at an angel of about 45 degrees to the tank, right infront of there caves. when there lights go off i can see 6 twinkly lights moving about, getting closer to the food. and then feeding.
the cam i use is fitted with 10 ir led's and produces little heat.

i watch mine at night using a wireless ir cam, they dont seem to notice it at all.
if fact they are very frisky and so active, they are always jumping of bogwood, there caves and they chase each other like little kids in the playground.
