Re: Happy zebra owner of 9 f1;)
Hi Cheddo, no worries you english is very impressive :-). If you have the space I would try to split them up initially, even if it is to make sur ethat they are all gettign teh chance to fatten up. It will be easier to keep an eye on them. This will also enable you to pick out the dominant males. i....

Hi Speeds
From the LHS going clockwise.
m,m,m,f,m,f,m,f.
Nice looking fish but definately need fattening up a bit. Get some bloodworm and corgette in there

Re: Help!! MY 8 Zebs to sex!
Hi Jonnieboy
Ok, from the LHS Corner I would guess the following:
m,f,f,m,f,m,f,m
Although to be honest the last two are dubious.
Hope this helps.

Re: Help!! Zebs with pink tummys
Hi Jonnie
First of all this may seem like a silly question, but what do you feed them? The younger of my zebras used to get a reddish tinge when I fed them tetra prima, purely due to the thin skin on their underside.
As for being gravid, I have not seen any change in colouration before.

Re: Rapid river tank
Hi Mauro It is a really interesting concept, I am impressed :-). From a flow rate point of view, I wonder if it would increase the flow from one side to teh other if you increase the differential of the two water columns as much as possible. That waay you also have the additional (if only a little) ...

I would hazard a guess at a female purely down to shape.

Hi Mauro Welcome to the forum. As far as I am aware there are no videos available online of zebras in their natural habitat. Keep up the ssearch however and if you find one let us know :-) The problems associated with a high flow rate aer easily sorted out over time. i.e. movement of subrtate, - re-...

Re: Hello from Fremont California!
Unfortunately I only kept 4, although I shoudl imagine at some point in time I will start them up again. :-) If possible I would definately recommend getting an established group if they are available. However be very careful if they are being sold as a breeding colony as these tend to go for a prem...

Re: Strange looking Zebra; Male or Female
Could be a young female, but I am not sure. Did you say you have several with the same deformities? My first reaction would be that this fish has lost it's fins due to either bullying or extremely bad conditioning, leading to them growing back deformed. If however you have several that all have fins...
