Buy them locally and young, which will be cheaper. IMO, Unless you buy them at at least 3" or larger, it really won't make a difference, because you still can't sex them. So you will still have to feed and allow them to grow.

Driftwoods and quartz rocks are safe. I'm not sure about the Texas holey rock isn't. I believe it will increase the pH.

From what he/she says on the ad, he is selling the offspring, after selling off the breeding group. The strange thing is, I haven't seen any history of him selling breeding group of zebras.

1. Your acclimation process would be fine if you know the zebs come from the same water parameters that you have. The way I acclimate the zebs is, I carry a 5 gallon water bottle with me when I buy zebs. I collect some water from the breeder I buy them from. When I bring home the zeb, I put it into ...

Just remember, since they are bottom dwellers, they require more surface to occupy and do not care about height.

Are they adults or juveniles?

Most people use pH probes for SW or planted tanks, since they have to inject CO2. TDS meters are only necessary when using RO water. How about investing on a thermometer with an alarm, in case the temp goes above or below a certain point, like this one... http://www.drsfostersmith.com/images/Categor...

Cool. If that can be resolved, then you may find more people using the chat. Also it would be easier if it would be possible to display who is in the chatroom without actually entering it. For instance, this site... http://www.fishforum.com/index.php Shows if there are anyone in the chatroom and if ...

Nice fishouse. I'm surprised you didn't paint the bottoms and backs of the tanks to eliminate the reflections and make it easier to see the fish.
