Yep, you are correct andrew.... as nice as people think they are and with the booming planted tank craze it was a given that this was gonna happen to them. I plan to try and breed a few of these to maybe offer to the locals but other than that there are much nicer looking "microrasboras" o...

I think it could be possible with any fish but that's from reading it off the net. I had a guppy that had it but I didn't treat it and it died. My juvis are like that!

I have this one loner that chills by itself while all the others stick close together. The loner will get chased when it comes out while the others are.

I think from what I remember reading on a planted tank forum and what is offered on the net zebra tanks are about 85 and what the galaxy prefer is about 10degrees less.

Live and Learn though, It could have been poor stock though.

Finding out their preferred enviroment should have been first on the list.....doing so would have kept these little ones alive and probably helped slow down their endangered status some.
