Thanks for the replies...
It is just on the sides and tail, hear head and top part are okay for the most part. I think you're right about it being from fighting. So is it okay to just leave her in there? Thanks.

Getting a bit worried - Zebra is loosing stripes
I'm getting a little worried because one of my Zebras is significantly loosing her (I think it's a female) stripes. It all started when I did a water change and changed an airtube which I think disruppted their enviornment a bit  I regret I messed with the tank  ... I don't think it was be...

Hi Shell231, I had the colony in there for about 10 months now. When I bought them the guy told me that it would be about 6 months before they would be ready to breed. He had older ones but he would not be able to tell their age so he suggested these instead so I can get the most out of their adult ...

If you are worried about a mini cycle you can use a product called Biospira. I think thats how you spell it. I'm not sure if they have it over there but they sell it here in the US and it works really well. It must be kept cold and it states that it can cycle a brand new tank in 24 hours. I tried it...

Thanks for the links Adam. None of these look familiar so I don't know if the fish stores around here carry them. Maybe I'll just have to order them. The good news is that I got a good look at them last night and they do look like they are getting bigger and broader. :D It's SOO exciting! Does this ...

This site is awesome! Thanks everyone! I would probably guess that they are in or at the end of the 2 weeks following loosing their yolk sack so maybe that's it. They are getting bigger so I would assume that is a good sign and now they do look like they are getting slightly broader. I got a glimpse...

Thanks Adam... That was a really clear explination. My first batch of babies I didn't even know about untill I saw them sucking on the glass. I think they were already 3-4 weeks old by the time I found them and I've counted 5. I guess it's just trial and error, hopefully they'll start spawning on a ...

True True... I mean I DEFINATELY want these babies to do good and grow up nice and fat. I'd be crushed if I found out I lost any of the babies. I'll try and find the other foods for them. I dont know how they are supposed to look as babies. When I say that they look skinny I mean their body proporti...

Thanks for all the great suggestions. So it sounds like it's a consensus, I'll leave the babies in there then. People have told me they will still breed with their babies in there. Do you think this will slow them down or discourage them at all. My male hasn't been showing interest in breeding again...
