Re: Got 10 New Zebs
Hey, congrats on your acquisition. As far as a time frame, a little hard to say. It will depend greatly on how old your fish are, for one. Sometimes when you add WC to an established group it can help them along, which is not the case with you. I have had my core group for close to 3 years now, and ...

Re: options
And my .02 cents worth says that I would split them into 2 groups (although I did not when I got my group of 15 as I did not have the room or the tanks). That way, if you have a major problem in 1 tank, you will not lose all your precious fish. Just mt thoughts. And next time I have an empty tank, I...

Re: Finally!
Congrats on your zebs ! They surely need some more hiding places in the tank. And like you said, some caves. There are a ton of places to find caves on the net. Good luck.

Re: Zebra/hillstream loaches tank
I've got to agree. Although my hillstreams (sewellia lineolata) are not in with my zebs, they are in my community tank. The temp in the tank is usually 82°, and the only flow I have is from my 2 HOB filters (AC 70 and Emp280). I researched the loaches before I bought them, and the guy I got them fro...

Re: hi guys sum tank pics
Nice pics of a nice tank. I think if you want your zebras to be really happy, you need to provide more hiding places for them other than caves. Good luck.

According to planet catfish, zebra ottos like temps up to 77° F. I have a group of 8 that I keep in my community tank where the temp is at 80° with no problem so far, but they have only been in there a month. They are very active and visible, not like my otto affini that seem to be always hidden. Yo...
