They're all unrelated and are about the same age. In the bigger picture you can actually see the two on the left have much longer ontonodes.

But look at that thick pectoral fin.

There's too many variations, some girly-males while others are manly-females. I wish Zebra's were more like Cichlids when it comes to sexing.

Don't mean to bud in or sound rude, but try to find someone who actually has a mate for it. Try putting the species before your wallet in this case.

I was mentioning this theory to Kevin and he made an interesting point, if the case was lack of oxygen wouldn't all of the brood turn out snub-nosed? Or even more likely die?

You're right Al, that's why I use body-shape to determine sex. Females, tend to become plumper after their pectoral fins. Males are usually very streamline, no curves.

Like the one in question, it plumps up right after the pectoral fins.

When you dilute CO2 into the water, the pH will drop but the kH will remain constant. That's how we are able to measure CO2 concentrations using the kH-pH relationship.

kH is commonly measure in both dKH and meq/L. Ignore the other figures - concentrate on the .60 meq/L and 30 ppm (mg/L = ppm).
