What made you fall in love with zebra plecos? The pictures! Do you find them difficult to keep? I just throw food in the tank before lights out and water changes weekly so no, not too difficult. Do you find them difficult to breed? Mine haven't gotten to the point of breeding yet. Where did you get...

I have MTS in my tank and they do a great job of cleaning up! I don't consider them competition since they are slow and small, my ZP's just push them out the way and eat.

Anti-mildew or flame retardent stuff is a no-go in fish tanks and I'm sure swapping tanks like that caused a mini-cycle somewhere. Hope you bounce back from this one.

I think you should get rid of the other tanks and keep these zebras cause you will wish you did if you got rid of them.


I almost sold mine not too long ago due to limitations but didn't and am now really glad I didn't!

I am attempting it for some and successful at most of them. about the only things that haven't bred yet are.... Mobas Celestial pearl danios zebras I have seen the CRS and they don't do it for me and the cost doesn't help either. There are a lot of really nice ones that would be worth the high dolla...
