I think "khblock" on this site has a picture of a juvenile zebra in his avatar that is shaped similarly to the one in the picture. Here is my avitar picture. Oh, FYI...khblock is a girl. My feelings are hurt, you are comparing my beautiful baby to a ugly fish.  Mommy fish wags...

I agree, that is very distasteful to me but I also understand the position Rob is in. It is funny what associations Google ads draws. I noticed on a different pleco board that there were a bunch of ads for companies that sold minerals and gemstones. Apparently the reoccurrance of the words "go...

I think zebra plecos should compliment a discus tank quite nicely. They probably aren't wild caught zebras and the two should do well together. But if they are wild caught you probably would not want them with the discus. I know Brazil isn't exporting them anymore but if someone is selling fish they...

Clarification please.

The home page says best tank without plants but this thread indicates both best tank with and without plants. Which it is?

If you don't mind my asking...wouldn't it be better to separate the competitions since it’s so difficult to come up with new ideas.

I have three males and two females and have had two spawns so far. But so far only one male is spawning. The other males are smaller.

I'm not an expert but happy to share my experience with water flow. Some will say water flow isn't that important. I don't know for a fact how much flow is a factor. I do know I have zebra plecos and have had a couple of spawns. My first set up I used pvc pipe and two power heads to create a constan...

The Buddy, the "Big House" is a sponsor and what makes the site possible, so no we can't remove it. Speaking of sponsors. It looks like Rob is using Google's adsense. We should encourage visits to sponsors so Rob can have some help running this site. Now, I'm not saying just start clickin...

How weird you posted this. I was just getting on here to ask if anyone had an underwater habitat photo. Im wanting to work on a replica tank. I not only want to find a pic of the habitat but of the natural caves they use for breeding. What the soil composition is? water speed? water depth? Does any...

Thanks Rob & Team Zebra Pleco for Site Changes

Hey Rob, I like the changes you've made to zebrapleco.com. The health page is very useful and good information to know. It would be nice if we can find an underwater habitat photo to post on the habitat page. Does anyone have one or know where one may be found? Anywho, Rob and everyone else who cont...

Hello All, I took the recommendations offered and rearranged my zebra tank. I also added more live plants and will continue to do so when I find the plants I like. I added a spray bar to the power head to spread out the water flow area and I think the zebras are happier with it. They are moving arou...
