Nope Barb you sure haven't. The thing is the other caves are nothing at all like the slate ones. The pottery ones are much more roomier. I can't see how swapping out some clay ones for more slate ones can't hurt. I just have this feeling that adding slate might get another set of breeding going on. ...

In case folks have not figured it out, the colony I purchased came from INXS. INXS- the largest one must have figured it out cause he is one of the males that have now each spawned 3 times. Right now fatty is guarding almost free or free swimmers while the second spawner is on eggs. I need to procur...

It is very difficult to see into the back of the caves to spot fry or eggs which means I may miss the eviction and then fail ...
2nd Spawn
Considering I have only had my colony for about a month I am amazed and happy to report in addition to having fry in one cave which the dad is about ready to let out, I have wigglers on eggs in a second cave. I wish these guys were not so good at protecting as it makes it almost imossible to see wha...
Holy Cow

I never even saw the eggs nor more than one pleco in the cave. I am totally blown away. I have no idea how many there are as the cave is dark and long and d...

Hello from Westchester Co., NY
Hi all- fishkeeper of 6 years. Just bought a breeding colony of zebras and hopefully will be able to keep them doing so. I hope to pick up a lot of good tips and advice here. I also keep an assortment of other fish and plants.
