I'm not actually upset ;). I just think reputable people should be treated as such To be fair, I for one have never delt with this dealer, and I am sure a lot of ppl on this board have not either, so how are we to know who is reputable or not? Discussing it on such a forum is the sensible option IMO.

I also use playpit sand in a couple of my tank, including the zebra tank. I keep it less than 2cm and also use the sand snails just to be sure.

Hi Jerms.

I use sand around 1cm-2cm in my zebra tank. They seem to enjoy digging in it and in places it is pretty bare due to this.

Great advice the Andreas! I am aware that somebody has bred zebs in Melbourne without using RO water. They use straight tap water treating it with prime. Until I heard this and also reading through the various posts on this site, I was using RO water but have now changed over to using aged tap water...
