Algae is 99% of the time to do with light (my light is only on for about 6-7 hours due to the fact i have a few plants in my zebs tanks) and water conditions! over feeding to much waste ect! and a big cause which few pepole check for is phosphate! which can often come from your tap water! This got me a little worried "A happy healthy zebra will have a blue glow to there fins, an unhappy zebra will have a red tinge to there body and the stripes may fade a bit" my zebs seem nice healthy and fat plus they clearly have the blue tinge to the fins tail ect but they also have a sl...

Maracyn Plus Antibiotic
After reading a lot of good reviews about this product i imported some form america and have used it on my fish! so far with great effect i was just wondering if any one else uses this product (Mardel Maracyn Plus) and more importantly is it safe to use on zebs thanks

Np hijack away I never considered breeding them will be interesting to see if they do! And thanks the zebs seem to like it I do have to lift the slate from time to time to clear out any build up but seems to be ok

yes they are! there are 4 in there and all seem to be doing well i know a few websites says they need fast flowing very high oxygen water at around 20-24c (so part the way there )but over the years i have found given a healthy diet and clean water most fish are very adaptable

Thanks all and i believe theres been a slight mix up the angles are not fish but plecos!!! Hypancistrus sp L201 or common name "orinoco angle pleco" i was wondering why you were saying they were hard to keep untill i googled angels altums

hi all :) Been to the site a few times and keep coming back so thought i best join and stop being a lurker :P Only recently got in to zebra plecos got my first small group of 3! about 5months ago and have since then added 5 more :P all are doing great totally in love with them :) Been a keen tropica...
