Be creative with the landscaping. make sure there are plenty of hidingplaces and natural territories to be formed. it could work. With such young fish it should work for a while at least ;)

How about using a long thin stick? a scewer of some sort? stick it into the prawn in one end, and let the other end rest in one of the corners, maybe use a suction cup to make sure it doesn't fall into the water? :)

Discus should work fine, but I'm not so sure I'd want to keep other bottom dwelling fish with them. Remember they don't compete well for food.
