just cleaned my tank out and found 16 new zebs hiding under a rock from my 2nd spawn happy chappy 24 newbies in all other 8 are nearly 2 months old and growing nice

need more pics ?? looks a bit female to me if you can catch it look underneath at the genitile area if a v shape its male if its a u shape its female best way to tell yours has a rounder head which is more female to me

my zebs have spawned again and they have hatched dad is still looking after them but i noticed a baby zeb swimming about with the last bit of the egg sack still attached around his body will he be ok ????? dont want other zebs tryin to eat him

tes prob all females i have four or more all hang about together in gaps and caves near each other all time and my males tend to hang out in their caves most of time away from the other group

haha bonus when that happens thats all i was worried about was dropping to much in temp as its been very very cold out side last few wks mine had just spawned too so extra worry

panic over got power back on about 3 hrs later was a blackout all street lights were off too had no way of heating water as my cooker is electric too it had happened in middle of the night my girlfriend had got up to make our baby his bottle and woke me to tell me so all is ok now thanks

Help just had major power cut and worried my Zebs will die git no electric or gas to heat any water up ???? I did water change tonight not early hours of morning all power is down got babies in there too and more eggs ???? Anyone got any ideas

yes the last 3 i got were wc zebs contacted the guy before and asked him

think the 1st 5 i got were tank bred the last 3 not sure poss have been tank bred forgot to ask the guy but its all good gonna be running out of room at this rate maybe do a swap with someone that has juvies around the same age

id just add it in anyway i have 8 altogether in my tank the 1st 5 i got were supposed to be 2 males and 3 females the next 3 i added i had no idea but mine have just had their 1st spawn of 12eggs 9 survived and 3 died they are all in tank with my big ones now all getting on nicely. beat way to look ...
