How about this one?

I've been thinking this is a little girl but I am not sure. What do you think? http://i220.photobucket.com/albums/dd85/Brengun_photos/L046%20zebra%20plec/cIMG_6193Small.jpg http://i220.photobucket.com/albums/dd85/Brengun_photos/L046%20zebra%20plec/cIMG_6195Small.jpg http://i220.photobucket.com/album...

Glad you brought it up addict, as I had noticed a strangeness toward the tail but not really paid much attention. Here is a photo which the previous owner took way back in August this year and the tail looks like there is a cyst like swelling on one side of the tail there as well. Not much I can rea...

Freckles a boy or a girl?

Because of the spots on the tail, I have named this one freckles. He/she quite likes living in caves so I am not quite sure of the sex. I took as many photos as possible to help. http://i220.photobucket.com/albums/dd85/Brengun_photos/L046%20zebra%20plec/bIMG_6174Small.jpg http://i220.photobucket.com...

Caves placement

Here is a recent photo of my caves. The zebs have been playing musical caves for the past few weeks. http://i220.photobucket.com/albums/dd85/Brengun_photos/L046%20zebra%20plec/0a7755b5.jpg As of today, the D cave has been abandoned and that zebra is sitting over on the far right under the rock ledge...

Thanks for the info. I guess I will see if I can get a little seethru betta tank so I can get shots from all angles, even underneath. Nothings sacred, not even underbits.

Whats the best photos to get?

I have long thought one of my so-called female (fat body) is a male. A. It seldom ever comes out of its cave B. On the rare occasion I have seen it out, its got chewy whiskers. What would be the best angle of photo to get? One from above or is one closeup as possible from the side better? Is there a...

Three whole days of rain, send it to me, lol.
I bet your zebs like that set up, it looks to have lots of layers and good spots in it for a zebra pleco.

Added caves and redecorated

I had a fun time today adding the new caves I made for the zebra plecos. While I was at it, I added a bit of slate and rocks, and a bubble wand. The zebras were like kids with a new playground and forgot about their shyness for a little while. :) http://i220.photobucket.com/albums/dd85/Brengun_photo...

I have been using frozen bb on the adults and they seem to come out for it faster, mainly because the bb seems to sink better than adult bs. They are fairly meticulous in eating it too. Every groove on the tops of caves and every grain of sand gets the once over. I have also seen them eating osi bri...

I would not be too comfortable with a ph of 7.6 I much prefer 7.2 or less but that wasn't the question. Put a sponge over your canister intake and feed them frozen brine shrimp. Not too much mind you cause zebs don't eat a lot. The sponge will stop the canister from eating the shrimp before the zebs...

I am never really sure how long to make the caves. Too long and you won't even see a tail sticking out and too short the eggs might get kicked out. Whats a good rule of thumb lenght for L066?

While I am still coherent, I was wondering if bought frozen baby brine shrimp is ok to feed the fry? It thaws out like little grainy stuff. I have breed bb shrimp myself but I can n...

Well quaranteen was finally over for my 5 adult zebs so I caught "squirt" and added him to the adults tank. In 3 1/2 months he has grown from 2.5cm to 3cm TL. It seems like its going to take years to get to 8cm. He/she looks healthy though and one of the smaller female zebs has adopted him...
