Slate

I picked up some great slate for the tank from the garden centre. Do you think I should do anything special with if before putting it into the tank, apart from wash it. I always boil bogwood just to be sure there is nothing masty in it - do you think a quick boil of the slate would be a good idea or...

It would be helpful to put your location in your profile then anybody local to you may be able to give specific advice for what is available in your area. I think tetracycline will kill the bacteria in your filter so you may want to remove some of your filter media to reseed another filter to use wh...

Anyone want any frozen cyclops and/or lobster eggs? Free.

In order to get my lfs to get me cyclops and lobster eggs I had to buy loads. Looking at the sell by dates I'm not going to use everything I have, so if anyone is in Kent that would like some let me know. I have 3 packs of each so if I get a few respond then I'll split, but you will need to come and...

Before you start treating you should really make an effort to find out what the problem is. Once you start treating you can't just chop and change medication. I know that to my cost when I treated a dennison barb for what I thought was a fungus and it wasn't and he ended up being a week late getting...

I want some more Zebras!

After getting my 3 babies from Jo, I would like to add some more. Does anyone have any juveniles (I'd like some bigger than babies) within a reasonable distance from Kent? I will collect. Let me know if you have any please?

Thanks

Angela

My, they make pellets out of many things these days. Do you have a specific seller you buy from?

Shrimp pellets

Me again! Just been reading through some more posts on here and it seems quite a few people feed their Zebs shrimp pellets. Having looked them up it seems that they break up pretty quickly in the water which sounds perfect. Does anyone here feed these to their zebras and if so what brand? Cheers Ang...
