I recently contacted the guys who are the distributers of wormer plus (Plymouth Discus) and asked this very question. You do nothing that you wouldn't have normally done. Wormer Plus completely biodegrades in 4 days. :D

Just took some pictures. This is her usual spot, but the alpha male has moved over from the other end of the tank to the one next to where she usually hangs out! You can see the big bruisers tail hanging out of his cave on the right. You can see how she's been roughed up, it's the same on both sides...

Thanks Dave, I am reassured by that. I do a 5% change every other day and a 20% weekly. Just done my 20% but will do another tomorrow and every day until she's looking better. If she's tried to spawn I guess I should be pleased.............clearly I wish the male was more amenable!!

Why has one of my females been beaten up?

Hmmm.......seems I am the only one posting at the moment! My Zebra tank has 2 males and 4 females. The two males live at either end of the tank in their caves, occaisionally swaping ends, but there hasn't been any trouble between them. Anyway, this morning I saw that one of my females was looking ve...

I'm just about to move over to an external filter so that will help. They are funny little beggers, I've tried a whole prawn a few times and they barely touch it!

How much frozen food?

When I feed solid food to my zebs there is always food to be hoovered up in the morning, but when I feed frozen bloodworm or brineshrimp there isn't a single scrap left in the morning. Now I am sure some gets sucked into the filter, though I do switch off for an hour when I feed it. So now I am word...

If you already have angels I would be tempted to try them in the tank for a while as they will eat anything moving that will fit in their mouths :D They can cope with the high temps too, but you'll have to reduce the flow for a few days while they are in there! Rather than buy new fish you weren't p...

I know I have a lot more caves than I need but my new big male has a history having killed the alpha male in his previous owners group. I figured plenty of caves would reduce the chance of him fighting with my sub adult male. Seems to be working nicely as they have chosen caves at opposite ends of ...

I also have an eheim 2075 that I know I can get a venturi for, but the tank is only 115 litres (25 UK or 30 US Gallons), but I don't know if the flow would be too high, or do they not mind the flow? I can use the fluval 305 in my 200l comunity tank.
