I think the answer would or should be in the middle, find a fellow hobbyist which you feel comfortable with and sell for a midrange price. I wouldn't feel comfortable by selling to the highest bidder and wouldn't know if they would go to a good home....... Things are not that simple in our opinion....

Hi all, I can confirm that Mr P. (that's his name) is a bull nose, I noticed him too. His tail seems ok to me, it just looks like this because the other one got in the way - tell me what you think. Here is another picture of it (close up): http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a179/Caesars_/DSC_1917gr.j...

Fry photos

Hi all, Cleaning the zebby tank out today, so we managed to catch some fry for a photo opportunity. Ages range from 4 months old (the biggy) to 2 months old (the smaller ones). Below posing in the fry raiser, prior to rejoining colony: http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a179/Caesars_/DSC_2020gr1.jpg ...

Blondes

Two blondes living in Oklahoma were sitting on a bench talking, and one blonde says to the other, 'Which do you think is farther away... Florida or the moon?' The other blonde turns and says 'Helloooooooooo, can you see Florida ?????' ------------------------------------------- CAR TROUBLE A blonde ...

We have also left the fry in with the adults and they seem to be doing fine. I feed frozen bloodworm once a week and they also get frozen cyclops and daphina. As the fry are masters in hiding I don't get to see them as often as I would like to - but there has been no evidence of casualties. The issu...

We have had 6 spawns up to now and the 3 remained in the main tank (250 lit) with the adults (not just the parents but the whole colony), the rest were removed. We normally can't see the fry (they are unbelievably fast) - except if we tiptoe near the tank after lights out with a torch - and then onl...

Easy folks, this cat is a real gem. He never hurts the fish, he just likes to watch them. And he is always the first to welcome new arrivals during acclimatization. On the two occasions over the past 7 years we had fish jumping out of their tank due to territorial fights the cat came to the study to...

I am leaning towards the maid having accidentally gotten something into that tank. This may or may have not been the case. If something "toxic" enough got in the tank accidentally why did it not affect all the fish? Question for you: did the losses happen after a water change? We both had...

We got over 30 L-codes plus some large cichlids. Our main reason is we absolutely adore them and we are intrigued by their behaviour. Each fish has an individual character - just by watching them you learn something new every day. We are also keeping a number of endangered species, with a view to pr...

Thanks guys! :D
We'll keep a record of the development of the fry and add some piccies as they consume the yolk sac and assume their "adult" colouration. Stick around ... :fish:
