Re: finally new zebra tank finished

Very NICE tank Navik! I really like it. Just a few questions: Are the two tanks sharing the water or they completely separate? What type of lighting and how much watts? And finally what type of sand is that?...Does the sand get blown around when the powerhead are turned on? From what I can see it wi...

Re: *Wanted Fugitive * US Fish And Wildlife requests your h

Interesting...does this also mean that the massive waves of WC/adult zebras we see on Aquabid is going to slow down? Or will someone else take this guy's place and import all those illegal fishes?! I'm interest to see what happens next.....

I have assassin snails with my Zebras and they do not bother the zebras, eggs or fry.
Nice looking tank do you have a full tank shot?

Very cool set up Zeb-Plecos-FXu! I like the different levels and small space for the fry's. Are those slate rocks or tile slate...or mixer of both?

I think their still a little too young to truly tell. Wait another 4-6 months and then sexing will be a lot easier. I wouldn't add extra stress on your fish by handling them. Good looking fish.

Welcome Mike to ZP! The tank size is not the problem it's the other fish in tank. Do you have any other fish then the two other plecos? If you do I would put food as close to were they hide and do it at night when you go to bed with all lights off! They have a better chance to find food without the ...

I can understand your concern about the fry's safety but I would have taken my chance with the new male in the cave then risk hurting the male and the fry's by breaking the cave to get him out. Just my opinion. Happy to hear everything turned out alright!

From what I've read on this forum I think that's normal. Many breeders have noted their colonies have been productive for sometime then one day they stop for a while....then there back to work. Hopefully the break is only a short one.

When I check the cave this morning the party has been broken up. Now the female is in the cave by herself and the Alpha male and the other two males are lurking near by! 8) There has been more fighting going on late last nite or earlier today between the Alpha & Beta male. Their tails are a...

Female trapped Male!?!?!

One of my female has trapped the Alpha male in his cave!?!
Not concern but very interesting! They have been like this for about 24 hours. Could the spawn like this? Has anyone else had this experience?
