Most of those caves came from Larry (screen name zcliff on AB). There are also some from plecocaves.com, and some from Kens Fish.

WTB/Trade "D" shaped caves

Hey all. I am looking for 1/2 a dozen or so small, "D" shaped caves. If you can help, please PM me and I'll get back to you ASAP. Thank you very much.

Gg, yep, they use the caves on all 3 levels. Course they don't use them for anything but hiding and advertising, but hopefully, they will ! I think most of them are about a year away, but getting closer every day.

Here ya go Linzi, the zebra tank. It is a 40 breeder with 2 heaters, 2 filters (Emp 400 and AC 70), and an aquaball 1212 powerhead. There is also a Koralia pump for current on the lower right side (I can't remember exactly (CRS) but I think it is a #2). I keep the tank at 85°, and do a weekly wc of ...

Rescaped the 40B today

It's been a year since I've seen all my zebras at one time, so I decided to rescape their tank today. After emptying the tank of all decorations, slate, caves and plants, I am happy to report that they are all well and accounted for ! Managed to snap a few shots cause who knows when the next time wi...

I use an aquaball 1212 on my zebra tank. Provides tons of bubbles and is virtually silent since it sits inside the tank. Good luck.

I have plain black on my zeb tank, and plain blue on all but 1 other. That is a river and plant background on my L400 tank. Good luck, think it depends on what YOU like !!

I have a ginormous can of Wardleys shrimp pellets that I feed to all my bottom dwellers, including the zebras. These are, of course, supplemented with many other things. Except, of course, lobster eggs, that are for some unknown reason, unavailable in the states !! Good luck.

Well, I can tell you the # 1 thing I look for is how the camera feels in my hand. I have small hands for a guy, so I didn't want a big, honkin' camera. The second thing I found, and this was pointed out to me by some photography friends, was quite often you can get great deals on cameras other than ...

I also have a bare bottom tank. While I do have some round caves, I also have some D shaped and some rectangular ones. What I do with the round ones is to wedge a flat rock against each side of the cave. This, along with the slate on top, helps keep them secure. Good luck.

Pics of my herd

Wel, I finally went on a stakeout with my camera and my flashlight and managed to get a few pics of my crew. I was starting to catch some flak (JK !) about people seeing the tank and no fish, so here they are. Enjoy !! http://i220.photobucket.com/albums/dd161/campinkru/IMG_3099.jpg http://i220.photo...

I have 8 sterbai in a 40 breeder with 15 zebs, mostly sub adults. I make sure I feed them plenty of food, and just about at lights out. The zebs are usually out and about, so I'm pretty sure they get enough food. The assassin snails eat the snails that move the stuff around. I have a bare bottom tan...

Myself and some others, use sterbaii corys in our zeb tanks. I also keep assassin snails in there to help keep the snail population in check. I originally put the snails in there to help raise them for my figure 8 puffer, who is in another tank. Good luck.
