The colour intensity of most tropical fish can change quite quickly. Often fish will be pale when they have been shielded from light. i.e. look at most fish in the morning when you turn the tank light on. Most fish will also change colour intensity due to breeding/feeding/aggression/illness etc etc....

Dr Gribb's caves for L134s &/or L260s?

Hi

Would Dr Gribb's caves be suitable for my L134s when they are fully grown? I also have some L260s would these same caves work for these guys as well?

Cheers

Cracking L134!

Now that is a lovely marked L134! I have four, I believe them to be 2 males and two females but that are not adults yet. Only one has very dark black stripes, do they get darker or paler as they become adults? I know my zebras became more pale as they got older.

From what I have read, Zebras can breed well past 7-8 years old. It sounds like an excuse from your friend. I bet he just doesn't want to get rid of them.

Hi Matrix, The Prime 30 is a good external filter. However, you will do well to beat Eheim. Filters are the life force of a tank, so its always worth spending that bit extra. Are all your F1 zebras taken? I would be happy to take some off your hands, it would probably pay for your filter no problems...
