I would call that about average for WC L46 plecos. I have seen prices higher for 3" F1's let alone WC's

I see this persons L46 up on Aquabid all the time and his prices have slowly creeped up over the last 6 months. I wouldn't buy from him due to the fact that his prices are double what you should be paying.

my lone male is almost always out of his cave. I am not sure why this is. But also have some plants although most anubias and ferns in there, however there are some dwarf cichlids in there with him and I think that helps.

Agian... price is relative to your location. I have NEVER seen a pleco go for under US$400 on any of the auction sites or retail.

Even the Germans are selling for anywhere from US$400-US$600 plus shipping on the North American auction sites.
