Near disaster!
Was doing my daily poo siphon in the zeb tank yesterday evening and immediately noticed the water was cold. The heater died. I don't know how long before it had died, but the water was room temperature. The light was still on so it "looked" like it was working. I grabbed the heater out of ...

I had one escape when the trap was fully floating. He just went up and over the side! I noticed one was missing, but as one of the fry had died, I figured the other was a casualty too and maybe got eaten or something. It was a few weeks later when I spotted a tiny tail under a piece of bogwood that ...

I want to make sure they're getting enough protein and didn't know if the prepared foods were sufficient for this, but it would seem that it is judging by your answers. I do still feed the sm...

What do you feed when there's babies in the tank?
With the obvious risk of choking babies on things like bloodworm, I was wondering what everyone else fed their adults when there's babies present? I'd like to keep up a high standard of food, but am afraid to put too much meaty food in because of the babies. But I wonder about how well they'll do on...

I was going to make this a separate post, but think it's SORT OF related to this one, so decided to add it on here. I hope you don't mind. I've recently run into a situation where someone wants to buy one or some of my juveniles (not sure how many yet). I know that he wants to breed them. I was ques...

Some of my fish
I've had quite a few spawns over the last couple years so there are zebs of all sizes in my tank. The latest batch are just a couple weeks old. I don't think there's anything cuter than a dinky baby zebra plec! http://i180.photobucket.com/albums/x260/CinbadUK/ThreeagesofZeb230607II.jpg http://...
