Re: plecoplanet website still around?
I wonder why? It was such a good resource for plecos generally.

plecoplanet website still around?
Does anyone know what happened to the plecoplanet website? I’ve been away from the forums for a while and the site seems to have been broken for a while.

Re: new to breeding l46
Hi guys, I haven't been around here for a long while due to work commitments and a house move. I'm one of the ones trying to do everything right and had only one spawn probably 4 years ago now. Can I get some current advice? I have the water at 29-30°C in a 200l tank with about 14 Zebs. I change the...

Yes, more pictures of that tank setup would be great.
Is that water slightly black with tannins from driftwood?

Do these groups breed in those tanks?

15 Zebras in a 3 foot tank is fine. I have a 4 foot tank 380L with 30 Zeb`s 6 ottos and 6 cardinal tetras, and they all get on well together.

How many Zebs in a 3foot tank is optimum?
Hi,
I have about 15 Zebs that range from 2-4 years old in a 3 footer with good flow and excess caves and a bare bottom.
Is this too many fish to have in a breeding colony or is it better to have more than less for spawning?
Other than the Zebs there are three corries and 20 tiny Endlers.
Cheers

Hi Rob & Stevie,
can I ask what you are looking for in these fish to sex them? I couldn't find a solid thread on this.
I'm new to Zebs and it sounds like you guys are quite confident.
I'll post a new thread to discuss this, but these 4 seem to be a good example.
thanks
Matt

Re: Hello Zebheads
Hey TTA,
what would you say is the main difference? From what I have read, it seems like L134 are a bit more sensitive to the hardness of the water, and the L046 are a bit more sensitive to diet?

Re: Hello Zebheads
Hello again, I first popped in in 2008 to say hello. This time I'm back and I have some Zebs of my own. I waited until I could successfully breed some L134s before rewarding myself with some Zebs so now I'm ready to give these beautiful little fish a shot. I've purchased some young Zebs which are 4....

Hello Zebheads
Hi there,
I've been a lurker here for a while, so I thought I'd just say hi.
I think I'm ready for some Zebs too, so I'll read up on all your advice,
best wishes for 2009
