Zebra Colonies for Sale

I have a total of 12 adult zebras, 6 sub adults (older than 2 years), and 1 or 2 juveniles that I am selling as I just don't have time for my tanks anymore. I'm keeping one little tank for my own enjoyment, but the rest have got to go. I'm also selling the tanks (75 gallon, 55 gallon, several smalle...

Re: Rockwork in Zebra Tank

Wal-mart......in the crafts/home decorating section and find the "Akasha" decorative stones. They make stones in the aquaruim section that are labeled for aquarium use, but they're usually small and only one color. I've used their large and extra large stones in my tank and haven't had any...

Just finished setting up my 75 Gallon

The plan is to put 13 adults in this tank....I haven't put anything in there just yet so I figured I'd post it and see if anybody has any warnings or recommendations. The Cherry Red Shrimp seem to be doing fine so I was planning on adding a fish or two tomorrow. I used water from my other zebra tank...

Zebra Pleco turned Red Overnight

Hey all, Not sure if there is any cause for alarm or not for this situation, or if anybody has seen this happen before?? Basically, my plecos get sinking pelleted food of various things like earthworms, shrimp, algae, and varieties, but I do feed them frozen brine shrimp, and bloodworms from time to...

Want to buy some breeding caves for L46

Normally I'm a "do it yourself" kind of person, but I would like to purchase some breeding caves from people who have had success with a certain "style" maybe. So, if anyone would like to make a some money and sell me some caves, then that would be great. Feel free to PM and we'l...

L46 Juveniles for Sale in Lexington, KY

I have several L46 zebra pleco juveniles for sale in Lexington, KY. They range from 1" to 1.25" and are 10+ months old. Fat and healthy and eating Ken's sinking sticks. Housed with Red cherry shrimp which I feel helps them be a little less shy. No pictures yet but soon hopefully. Feel free...

Re: Hello from Italy

Welcome to the forum. Powerheads and canister filters create a great flow of water. The high flow is what these fish seem to be used too. I doubt there are any videos of them as they are very deep in the river according to anything you read. Good luck with the biotype!

Re: Question About Behavior/Cave Setup

Thanks for the suggestions. I think you're right about my caves being too large based on your description of an appropriate size to suit an adult zebra. :( I'll just have to build some smaller caves to swap out for the larger ones. I only turn the lights on for a few hours a day, and even then I hav...
